The temperature is dropping and so we see the start of cold and flu season. Time for salt therapy.

Updated: Mar 7, 2019

The temperature is starting to drop and so are the sniffles. It's the beginning of cold and flu season.

But whyyyyyyy? Sniff. Sniff!

Well the two agents that typically cause the common cold, the Rhinoviruses and the cornoavirsus, replicate more in cool but not cold weather. Same with the influenza virus. It also prefers cool dry weather.

The cooler weather also means that we spend more time cooped up indoors with people coughing and sneezing, adding tiny droplets of viruses for us to breathe in.

So, how do we fight back? Spend some time in a dry salt room, breathing in dry salt air and let the salt fight your battles.

The natural healing properties of the inhaled salt micro particles of pure pharmaceutical grade salt, are able to bring fast relief of symptoms by;

  • Clearing viruses and toxins from airways.

  • Reducing inflammation.

  • Thinning bronchial and nasal mucous congestion allowing for improved drainage.

  • Absorbing oedema from swollen mucosa linings allowing for wider opening of airways, bringing increased oxygen supply.

  • Relief from allergens.
