Breathing is not just about getting air in and out of lungs.
You can really amplify the benefits for your whole body with slow deep breathing. So what are the benefits and how can I do it? Take a slow deep breath and read on!
By using our breath we are able to;

We can activate the parasympathetic nervous system with slow deep breathing and this can reverse the stress response in our body. This slow deep breathing can stimulate the vagus nerve, which slows down your heart rate, calms your mind and body and can lower elevated blood pressure.

SLOW DEEP BREATHING TECHNIQUE
Breathe in slowly through your nose and down into your abdomen, hold gently for a few seconds, then slowly release your breath from your abdomen up through your lungs and out through your nose.
Repeat this several times.
Regular practice will allow you to deepen your breathe further and increase the wellness benefits!
